Ni Raiding, going forward (4/13/11)

Heres the breakdown of the meeting from today. In short Im happy to report we have a GM and set of officers who are concerned with getting everyone who wants to raid, into raids. This is a far different experience than what im used to, where raids are cherry picked and no concern is given to starting more teams as long as the core is progressing.

As i said, this is not the case here. Az really wants all raiders to raid and as such she is putting together a second 10's team. We tried 25's, not enough people showed interest and we dont have a desire to pug outside people in a run.

As such toomey will be running one group of 10 on tues and sat, same as usual. Az will be putting together a second group and that group will set its days ,times, and amount of days. Its an excellent opportunity for those who cannot raid the current schedule, and a way for those who are available but havent gotten a consistent seat to now be part of a core group.

As need dictates and personnel become available we can look at starting a 3rd 10's, or merging to 25's once people are comfortable in a raid environment and have commensurate gear.

The important thing i took out of the meeting is that we dont want to lose good people, because they want to see raid content. by good people we mean people who fit in with the ni philosophy of being casually excellent and always helpful and friendly to each other. If you have a concern about raid time, PLEASE approach me, Az, or one of the other officers. We will do what we can to get you raid time, our focus is retaining good Ni!

Please check the website as often as possible just to stay involved and check the calendar EVERY TIME you come on. We will be accessible but you have to meet us halfway!

in an effort to spread the wealth, once team 2 feels solid short will be passing the reins over to another raid lead. if you are interested in raid leading team 2, please read the post in one of the above threads, and follow the application process.

it is a hard job, but rewarding if you enjoy complex systems and managing a team.
