Tanks, My name is Strafe, lets be friends

Dear warrior tanks, and all tanks really but i dont want to tell other classes what to do, please use strafe!

picture a boss who drops a cone of aoe deadliness from the sky right on top of you while youre tanking. you have two melee dps. you back step out of aoe as soon as it drops and pat yourself on the back for your fast reflexes. however you just made the melee dps decide to either follow u forward thru the cone of death , thereby straining the healers mana pool, or they must break off, , move around the cone and re-engage.

this is not effective or efficient. had you strafed, no loss of dps or extra raid damage.

strafe. learn it, love it and for gods sake keybind it!
